In 1988, Susanna lost her home in Akhuryan due to an earthquake and moved to Gyumri with her family. The difficult family situation forced Susanna’s son Arthur to move in with her family and live with her father-in-law. Today, the Khalatyans demand a piece of paper from the local self-government bodies in order to finally get their coveted apartments through that paper.
