January 20, 2017 The situation on the Artsakh-Azerbaijani line of contact was tense again. 31-year-old contract soldier Alexan Avanesyan was wounded by the enemy’s shots. From that day on, a new struggle began in his life, a struggle beyond the border, but not against the enemy. Alexan did not give up for the sake of his wife, Alina, and the two girls who needed him the most. The constant physical pains forced Alexan and his family to move from their father’s house in the Artsakh Republic to Armenia, to start all over again.
