54-year-old Garun Hovakimyan has been taking care of Laura’s two children for several years now. On June 5, 2023, the fire destroyed the Hovhakimyans’ years of work. Spring’s family found themselves at ground zero again. The two minor children were abandoned first by their father and then by their mother. Garun, the children’s grandmother, decided to take care of her grandchildren and become a foster family.
