In 2018, after returning from the Russian Federation, Gegham decided to move to Artsakh with his three minor children to live in Ishkhanadzor. In 2020, leaving everything in Ishkhanadzor, Gegham returned to Armenia, but months later, after receiving a new offer, he moved to Patara community of Askerani region, from where he finally left in 2023. On August 8, Gegham was diagnosed with cancer, which aggravated the status of a single father.
