After the thunderstorm, Anna and Hovhannes’ life changed completely.

While working in the field, lightning has struck Hovhannes and after that he has gotten hearing problems. After the medical examination, he was assigned a special hearing aid for his problem but because of expensiveness, the family could not afford to buy it. Instead, they have bought a relatively inexpensive hearing aid, but it has not matched Hovhannes’ hearing problem, as a result, he is barely hearing the voices of others.

The couple with their 2 underage children lives in a rented apartment and due to financial problems they are unable to care about their children. Poor social conditions and deteriorating health have standed the family in front of desperate situation.
