60-year-old Mareta Stepanyan remembers the losses and pains she experienced for years with tears in her eyes. During the first Artsakh war, in April 1994, Mareta learned about her husband’s death, after which she gathered her strength and continued the fight for the sake of her three children. Already today, Mareta and the boy’s family left their house in Stepanakert and started to migrate again. After taking the essentials, Maretta took one last look at her house and closed the door with wet eyes, hoping in her heart that one day she would have the chance to open the locked door again.
