60-ամյա Մարետա Ստեփանյանն արցունք աչքերին հիշում է տարիներ շարունակ իր ունեցած կորուստներն ու ապրած ցավերը: Արցախյան առաջին պատերազմին՝ 1994 թվականի ապրիլ ամիսին, Մարետան իմացավ ամուսնու զոհվելու մասին, որից հետո հավաքեց ուժերն ու շարունակեց պայքարը հանուն երեք զավակների: Այսօր արդեն Մարետան տղայի ընտանիքի հետ թողել է Ստեփանակերտի իրենց տունը և կրկին գաղթի ճամփան բռնել: Առաջին անհրաժեշտության իրերը վերցնելուց հետո, Մարետան վերջին անգամ հայացքը գցեց իր տանը և թաց աչքերով փակեց դուռը, հույսը սրտում, որ մի օր կողպած դուռը ինքը հնարավորություն կունենա կրկին բացելու:
