With purpose to make better future for their sons, the Mkrtchyans bought a house in Lusakn village; however, the arisen health problems of their middle son – Zhora Mkrtchyan broke the parents’ spirit. The phone call of 2011 shocked the members of the family. They were told that their son was transferred from the military unit to the psychiatric department of the Yerevan garrison military hospital with diagnosis of acute psychosis. After receiving long-term treatment Zhora has never returned to the military unit. A few months later, he died. The Mkrtchyans’ family is unable to find ways to solve ever-increasing problems. Today five minor children grow up in the family of 11 members, and the most important thing still remains Mkrtich’s problem of walking.
