Irina, a mother of 4 children, took care of her children with the help of her mother after her husband left. During the last Artsakh war, Irina with her children, old mother and fellow villagers fled from village to village through mountains and forests so that the hands of the enemy would not reach them. Today, Irina, who narrowly escaped the enemy’s bullets, found temporary accommodation in the town of Yeghegnadzor, Vayots Dzor , with her minor children. On the evening of September 19, 2023, Irina and fellow villagers realized that the enemy was already in their native village, Chankatagh, and left the village.
