Maria, 37, sheds tears after the last Artsakh war. The war not only took away his house, but also his father and brother. After leaving Ishkhanadzor community of Kashatagh region, Maria and  relatives did their best to get her father out of the house, but 67-year-old Seryozha Sakanyan was more persistent. As soon as the war started, Seryozha said that no matter what happened, he would stay at home, and that’s what happened. All the residents of Ishkhanadzor community left the community, but the father did not leave the house, and the enemy was already in the village.
