Hasmik’s childhood years are dark and unpleasant for her. According to her, the attitude of her father’s third wife ruined her life. According to Hasmik, the rape that happened to her when she was 12 years old, was organized by her stepmother.

After that, everyone in Masrik was discussing that incident. Unable to bear the gossips, Hasmik decided to move to the capital, hoping that she would be forgotten and she would start a new life, but in Yerevan she faced new problems. It was here that she became a mother and today she is raising her daughter alone.
