43-year-old Yana Abrahamyan was in the Republic of Armenia during the 44-day war when she heard the news of the death of her husband, Major Eduard Abrahamyan. The death of her husband was the most terrible for the mother of 4 children, but Mrs. Yana, behaving like a major’s wife, reached Stepanakert with difficulty and buried her hero husband. Today, Yana continues her life in Yerevan with 3 of her 4 adult children, dreaming of living again in her native city, Stepanakert, and of visiting her husband’s grave at the fraternal headquarters.
