Upon learning that his second wife, Narine, had left his mother-in-law, leaving their young child, Mkrtich left all his affairs and returned to Armenia from the Russian Federation. While the Baptist was in Russia, he received a message from Narine that he wanted the child. After finding out that Narine already has three children from her previous marriage, Mkrtich decided to step forward and return her child with more confidence.
