Maro, 40, has been living with the third man in her life, Romik Azatyan, for several years. Maro and Romik do not have a main residence and move from place to place. The couple live with two of Maro’s three children in the mountains in a small cabin in inhumane conditions. The mountains and valleys became Maro and Romik’s only refuge, and the shepherding became their only source of income. According to Maro, life in the mountains is very difficult, but they have no other way to live.
