35 years ago 53-year-old Hermine Harutyunyan, as a bride, moved to Marmashen from the village Hovit of Shirak province. Hermine’s married life had begun happily, but years later, her husband- Velikhan’s death led Hermine and her two sons to despaired situation. After her husband’s death Mrs. Hermine took the family’s burden on her shoulders; she has not been losing the hope till now and is struggling to solve the complicated problems. Today, this woman lives with her son, who has health problems, with his wife, and three minor grandchildren. Nobody works in the family, they live with allowance of 34,500 drams and pension of 16,000 drams.
