The family of Arman and Sona moved to Stepanakert in 2020, leaving the years they had spent living and working in Shushi behind. Sona and Arman traveled from Stepanakert to Yerevan with their two boys on December 12, 2022, for a medical checkup. While there, they learned that the single road between Armenia and Artsakh had been shut down. Arman and Sona made the decision to remain in Armenia today in order to address the boys’ health issues.
