Rita’s life turned upside down 23 years ago in the Russian Federation, when her mother died and she decided to return to Armenia. Having returned to Armenia and appeared abroad, Rita moved to the empty, demolished and forgotten building of the former maternity hospital in Ashtarak in order to survive. Hungry, thirsty, and increasingly ill health are constants in Rita’s life, and today she is left alone without a helping hand.
