Shoghik Avetyan and her children live in Marmashen village of Shirak region. Twelve years after marriage, Shoghik took her children – Vanya and Ani, and returned to her father’s house. After the divorce her husband – Gagik, has never been concerned about his children. Already for two years Shoghik with her 16-year-old daughter – Ani and 18-year-old son – Vanya, from her father’s house has moved to a wagon-house belonging to the community, which has been lack of any utilities. Shoghik’s parents have been supporting her, but they are not always able to help their daughter and grandchildren. Shoghik works in one of the design shops of the village. Her daily salary is 2,000 drams. Our visit pleased Mrs. Shoghik very much. We took clothes and food for the family. The family hopes that one day fortune will smile upon them, and they will be able to get out of hard living conditions.
