Khachik lost his health in 1994 while participating in war activities, but in 2005 he met Varsenik, and the love they shared led to the creation of a family. The couple never gives up and fights constantly to elevate the pillars and strengthen the walls of their half-built house as they watch it grow each morning from their cabin. The family of Khachik and Varsenik resides in a shanty in the Haghtanak neighborhood. The family’s catchphrase for dealing with issues is “I won’t give up.”
