76-years-old Lusik, who needs custody, is taking care of a 35-year-old girl. Anna has a serious health problem. The only person who connects her and the outside world is her mother but she also has health problems and needs help. It is only at this age that Anna has begun to learn sign language because Mrs. Lusik keeps saying that after her death the girl will be left alone and there will be no one who will understand her and lend a helping hand.

Apart from this Mrs. Lusik and her daughter live in terrible conditions without comfort and basic living conditions. Their only way to keep warm in the winter is a gas stove.
