76 ամյա տիկին Լուսիկը, ով ունի խնամակալության կարիք, խնամում է 35 ամյա աղջկան։ Աննա ունի լուրջ առողջական խնդիր։ Նրա ու արտաքին աշխարհի հետ կապող միակ մարդը նրա մայրն է, բայց նա ևս ունի առողջական խնդիրներ ու օգնության կարիք։ Միայն այս տարիքում է, որ Աննա սկսել սովորել ժեստերի լեզուն, քանի որ տիկին Լուսիկը անընդհատ ասում է՝ իր մահից հետո աղջիկը կմնա մենակ ու ոչ ոք չի լինի, որ նրան կհասկանա ու օգնության ձեռք կմեկնի։

Այս ամենից զատ, տիկին Լուսիկն ու աղջիկը ապրում են սարսափելի պայմաններում՝ առանց հարմարությունների ու տարրական կենցաղային պայմանների։ Ձմռանը նրանց տաքանալու միակ միջոցը հաց պատրաստելու վառարանն է։
