Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Լճավան գյուղում ապրող Շահբազյաննների ընտնիքում խնդիրներն իրար հերթ չեն տալիս։ Վաստակած չնչին գումարը ընտանիքը ծախսում է առողջական խնդիրներին լուծում գտնելու համար, սակայն խնդիրները այդպես էլ մնում են չլուծված։ Գյուղում հիմնական աշխատանք չկա, գարնանը կարտոֆիլ են ցանում և փոխանակում հոգալով այլ անհրաժեշտ պարագաներ։ Ընտանիքի  հարսը Տաթևիկ Մարտիրոսյանը իր ուսերին է վերցրել ընտանիքի մյուս անդամների հոգսը և փորձում է ելք գտնել առաջացած խնդիրներից։
