Ընտանիքի հոգսը թեթևացնելու համար Ռուզաննա Մկրտչյանը 17 տարեկանում որոշեց ընտանիք կազմել։ Ամուսնությունից 23 տարի անց Ռուզաննան լքեց ամուսնուն, սակայն, հայրական  տուն  չէր  կարող  վերադառնալ, քանի որ հայրը դեմ էր բաժանությանը։ Ռուզաննան արդեն համակերպվել էր խնդիրներին, երբ աշխատանքի վայրում հանդիպեց ներկայիս ամուսնուն՝ Հակոբ Հարությունյանին, որը նորից նոր կյանք սկսելու հույս տվեց։ 49- ամյա Ռուզաննան ցանկանում է, որ իր երեխանները չանցնեն այն ամենի միջով ինչի միջով անցել է ինքը ժամանակին, սակայն խորթ մայրը այսօր խոչընդոտում է ստանալ հայրական տանից իր հասանելիքը։
