Նարինեն համաձայնեց դառնալ Դավիթի կինը հաշվի չառնելով ընտանիքում եղած սոցիալական խնդիրները: Տարիներ առաջ Սարգսյանների ընտանիքում ամեն ինչ գլխիվայր շրջվեց, ընտանիքի սոցիալական դժվարություններին ավելացան Վարդանի կնոջ՝ Նարինեի առողջական խնդիրները: Ընտանիքում մեծացող երեք անչափահաս երեխաների երազանքները ճոխ չեն, բայց նրանց համար կարծես անհասանել են դարձել, քանի որ ընտանիքի միակ աշխատողի՝ Վարդանի վաստակածը նույնիսկ սնունդի չի բավականացնում: Վարդանի և Նարինեի ընտանիքում ամեն ինչ կիսատ է, կիսատ երազանքներ, առողջական և սոցիալան անհաղթահարելի դժվարություններ, հենց այսպես են ապրում Սարգսյանները:
