2020 թվականի ապրիլի 8-ին եթեր հեռարձակվեց <<Ընտանեկան խաբկանք>> վերտառությամբ հաղորդումը, որտեղ Աշոտ և Արփինե Սահակյանները պահանջում էին իրենց հասանելիքը: Հաղորդումից հետո Աշոտի կյանքը գլխիվայր շրջվեց՝ 2008 թվականին Արփինեն կարելի է ասել նոր կյանք տվեց Աշոտին ՝ ամուսնանալով նրա հետ, սակայն 2021 թվականը նրանից խլեց Արփինեին՝  թողնելով ամուսնուն ու երեխաներին միայնակ: Առողջական խնդիրներ ունեցող հայրը այսօր մտածում է միայն 2 երեխաների մասին, սակայն դժվարություններն առանց Արփինեի օր-օրի ավելանում են:
