Ռիտա Պետիկեանը 2019 թվականին երկու երեխաների հետ Լիբանանի Հանրապետությունից եկավ ու որոշեց բնակություն հաստատել Աշտարակում: Ռիտայի խոսքերով իր երկու անչափահաս երեխաններին  Բեյրությում  այլ աչքով էին նայրում, քանի որ նրանք ունեին Սիրիայի փաստաթղթեր և հենց այդ պատճառով էլ նա երկու երեխանների հետ տեղափոխվեց Հայաստան:  Ռիտայի խոսքերով Աշտարակում գնած տունը նոր խնդիրների պատճառ դարձավ, քանի որ այն ինչ նկարագրել էին բնակարանը գնելիս, տեղափոխվելուց հետո իրականությանը չէր համապատասխանում:
