Հասմիկի ընտանիքը Գեղաքարի այն քիչ ընտանիքներից մեկն է, որը մինչ օրս գյուղը չի լքել ու միևնույն ժամանակ պայքարում է, առանց մշտական աշխատանքի, այնտեղ իրենց կացությունը պահպանելու համար: Հասմիկի 2 աղջիկները Գեղաքար գյուղի միակ երեխաններն են, որոնք ամեն օր առավոտյան վաղ են արթնանում, որպեսզի կարողանան հարևան գյուղում  դպրոց հաճախեն, իսկ 6,5 կիլոմետր ճանապարհ անցնելը ֆինանսական խնդիրներ է առաջացնում: Գեղաքարում Հասմիկի ընտանիքն ապրում է առանց մշտական աշխատանքի ու իր 5 երեխաններից երկուսը ամեն առավոտ մեծ դժվարությամբ կողքի՝ Խաչաղբույր գյուղում հաճախում են դպրոց, որը ավելի է բարդացնում ընտանիքի առօրյան:
