Կյանքի մի մասն անցկացնելով կալանավայրերում Կարոն, որոշեց ընտանիք կազմել ու  փոխել ապրելակերպը: 2004թվականին Մարոն Կարոյի հետ կազմեց իր ընտանիքը, որտեղ այսօր մեծանում են իրենց 4 երեխանները։ Մասնակցելով Արցախյան երեք պատերազմներին, Կարոն ձեռք բերեց առողջական լուրջ խնդիրներ, որոնք էլ առաջացրեցին ֆինանսական խնդիրներ: Գուբուշկինն այսօր փորձում է վերականգնել իր հաշմանդամության կարգը, քանի որ տարիներ շարունակ այն ուղին, որ նա անցել է եղել է մեծ դժվարություններով և հանուն հայրենիք, իսկ այսօր հայրենիքից պահանջում է իր խոսքերով իրեն հասանելիքը:
