Ամուսնուն` Մաքսիմ Սարգսյանին ընտանիքը հուղարկավորեց Գորիսի եղբայրական գերեզմանատանը, սակայն ամիսներ անց Նանարը որշեց ամուսնուն իր սրտին ավեի մոտ պահել և աճյունը Ստեփանակերտ տեղափոխել: Այսօր արդեն Նանարն իր 4-ամյա որդու` Հայկի հետ, կյանքը շարունակում է ՀՀ-ում` ծնողների կողքին, հույս փայփայելով, որ մի օր կրկին հնարավորություն կունենա վերադառնալ հարազատ քաղաք և այցելել ամուսնու Շիրիմին: Նանարն ու Մաքսիմը սպասում էին իրենց երկրորդ զավակի լույս աշխարհ գալուն, երբ լսեցին 44-օրյա պատերազմի լուրը և չնայած ընտանիքի կռվի դաշտ չգնալու հորդորներին, Մաքսիմը որոշում կայացրեց առաջնագծում լինել և պայքարել հանուն հայրենիքի:
