44-օրյա պատերազմն անջնջելի հետևանքները թողեց Արտուրիկ և Ֆաթիմա ամուսնական զույգի կյանքում: Ժամկետային զինծառայող երկու որդիներին, ամուսինները սրտի թրթիռով էին սպասում. Փոքր որդու՝ Թեմուրի մահվան բոթը լսեցին, իսկ ավագ որդուց՝ Օնիկից ծնողները մինչ օրս ոչ մի լուր չունեն: Իրենց վշտով բայց մեծ սպասումով կյանքը շարունակում են Արտուրիկն ու Ֆաթիման: Արտուրիկին ապրեցնող միակ բանը դա սպասումն է: Սպասում է ավագ որդու վերադարձին: Նրանք փնտրում էին իրենց ավագ որդուն, չմտածելով անգամ, որ նորակոչիկ փոքր որդին նույնպես կռվի դաշտում է:
