Բազմաթիվ առօրյա խնդիրները Շուշան ու Մանվել զույգին, չէին խանգարում Արցախյան հողում զավակներ ծնել, սեփական քրտինքով վաստակել օրվա հացն ու երջանիկ լինել: Արցախյան առաջին պատերազմում առողջ լսողությունը կորցրած Մանվելը, աշխատեց պաշտպանության բանակում և մասնակցեց , թե քառօրյա և թե 44-օրյա պատերազմներին։ Բլոկադան, 23 թվականի սեպտեմբերին բռնի տեղահանումը ու Արցախի վերջնական հայաթափումը Շուշանից ու իր ընտանիքից խլեց ապրելու հույսը: Թիկունքի Մանվելի ընտանիքն այսօր փորձում է իր մեջ ուժ գտնել ապրելու համար, սակայն առօրյա խնդիրներն էլ ավելի են բարդացնում նրանց կյանքը:
