Հերմինե Խաչատրյանի ընտանիքի կյանը փոխվեց, երբ նա հայտնվեց կալանավայրում։ Կալանքը կրելուց հետո 44-ամյա Հերմինեն այսօր ապրում է հոր՝ 79-ամյա Էդիկ Խաչատրյանի հետ՝ Սյունիքի մարզի Կապան քաղաքում: Հերմինեն ընդունելով սեփական սխալները, շարունակում է ապրել նույն կյանքով, մտածելով որ իր համար այլևս հետ դարձի ճանապարհ չկա: Այսօր Գայանեն միայն մի բան է ուզում  օգնել ծեր հորը վերադարձնելու տարիներ առաջ կորցրածը և դուրս գալ անմարդկային ու անմարդաբնակ պայմաններից:
