20 տարեկանում Արաքսյաի ստեղծած ընտանիքը կարճ կյանք ունեցավ, բայց ամուսնության ընթացքում ծնվեց Արաքսյայի միակ որդին, ով դարձել էր նրա ապրելու իմաստը: Արաքսյայի խոսքերով սոցիալական վատ պայմանները ստիպեցին իր 23-ամյա որդուն լքել մորը և վերադառնալ հոր հետ ապրելու, իսկ Արաքսյան Գուգարքում մնաց մենակ ու անօգնական: Գուգարքում Արաքսյային հորից ժառանգություն մնացած տանը, հոր մահից հետո ոչինչ չի ավելացել, ընդհակառակը պակասել է: Առողջական խնդիրների պատճառով 44-ամյա Արաքսյան մեծ դժվարությամբ է տեղաշարժվում, իսկ օգնության հասնողն ուշանում է ու ուշանում։
