2017 թվականին Համեստն ամուսնացրեց ավագ որդուն՝ Արմենին, սակայն ամիսներ անց սկսվեցին հարսի հետ գժտությունները, որի հետևանքով 3 տարի անց Արմենն ու Նաիրան որոշում կայացրեցին ամուսնալուծվել: Արմենը չհասցրեց բաժանվել, քանի որ երկրի պաշտպանությունն իրեն էր սպասում: 2020թվականի սեպտեմբերի 27- ին Համեստն իր երկու որդիններին ուղարկեց մարտի դաշտ, սակայն պատերազմից ավագ որդին այդպես էլ չվերադարձավ… Հոկտեմբերի 26-ին Համեստը հեռուստացույցով զոհված զինծառայողների անունների շարքում լսեց նաև որդու անունը: Որդու զոհվելուց հետո Համեստն  իմացավ, որ հարսը հետ է վերցրել ամուսնալուծվելու դիմումը և պատրաստվում է ստանալ  զոհված ամուսնու փոխհատուցման գումարը:
