2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին վերսկսված Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմը ճակատագրական դարձավ Մյուրիշենում ընտանիք կազմած Մարիամի և Գագիկի համար: Նույն օրը 8:30-ին Մարիամը 3 երեխաների հետ լքեց վայրը՝ որի հետ, իր խոսքով,այդքան երազանքներ էր կապել: Խուճապահար տուն տեղ թողած և քաղաք Էջմիածին հասած Մարիամը, պատերազմի դաշտում թողեց ամուսնուն՝ Գագիկին: Մարիամի խոսքով աղոթում էր, որ միայն ամուսինը ողջ լիներ ու տուն վերադառնար:
