Արտաշես Բաբայանն ու Աստղիկ Հակոբյանը իրենց 4 երեխաների հետ ապրում են Կոտայք մարզի Զովունի գյուղում։ Ամուսինները փորձում են իրենց ուժերի ներածին չափով ապահովվել  երեխաներին, որպեսզի վերջիններս չզգան ու չանցնեն այն ճանապարհով, որով ստիպված են եղել անցնել Արտաշեսը և Աստղիկը։ Չնայած սոցիալական խնդիրները բազմաթիվ են, սակայն ընտանիքում տիրող ջերմության պակաս կարծես թե չկա:
