Տարիներ առաջ անկախ հարազատների կամքից Գագիկն ու Կարինեն ընտրեցին միմյանց: Իսկ առողջական խնդիրները չխանգարեցին զույգին այսօր արդեն լինել 5 երեխայի ծնողներ: Արցախյան վերսկսված պատերազմի հետևանքով տեղահանված հարյուրավոր ընտանիքներից մեկն էլ եղավ  Հայրապետյանների ընտանիքը: Ոչինչ չվերցնելով իրենց ստեղծածից, ընտանիքը Հայաստան վերադարձավ, իրենց հետ բերելով միայն առողջական խնդիրները: Կենցաղային գործերը, որոնք սովորոբար կանայք են անում, ընտանիքի հայրը՝ Գագիկը, վնասված մեջքի վրա վերցնելով, պայքարում է իր և կնոջ առողջական խնդիրները լուծելու համար:
