Ապարանից 15 կմ հարավ գտնվող Եղիպատրուշ գյուղում Լեռնիկ Ղարիբյանը, ում տեղացիները ճանաչում են որպես Սայաթ, ամեն օրը մռայլության մեջ մաշելով փնտրում է կյանքի վերջնագիրը: Սայաթն  անընդհատ կրկնում է, որ իր կյանքը դադարել է իմաստ ունենալ, և վաղ թե ուշ նա վերջ կտա իր կյանքին: 53-ամյա տղամարդը արժանապատվության պայքար  սկսեց վեց տարի առաջ, սակայն Լեռնիկին պայքարի ընթացքում մենակ թողեցին առողջությունն ու ընտանիքի անդամները: Այսօր նրան իր տանը չեն սպասում և եթե անգամ ընդունեն իրեն ընտանիքի անդամները՝ նրանք խոստացել են ամեն բան անել, որպեսզի Սայաթի կյանքը դժոխքի վերածեն:
