22 տարեկանում Ժաննան, Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունից՝ Արցախի Հանրապետություն հյուր եկավ, այնտեղ էլ ծանոթացավ ապագա ամուսնու` Արթուր Բաղդասարյանի հետ և միասին փախնելու որոշում կայացրեցին: Ամուսնական զույգը կյանքը շարունակեց Մարտակերտի շրջանի Ճանկաթաղ գյուղում, որտեղ 8 զավակ ունեցավ, սակայն չկարողացավ այդպես էլ իր երազանքների տունն ունենալ: Այսօր արդեն Ժաննան ու Արթուրը իրենց 8 զավակների հետ հարազատ գյուղից բռնի տեղահանումից հետո կյանքը շարունակում են Վերնաշեն գյուղում:
