Վաչագանը սլավոնական հարցականների կիզակետում է իր հայկական և սլավոնական հարցերով։ 60-ամյա Վաչագանը ապրում է 86 տարեկան հոր հետ, նրա տնակում, իսկ ապրուստի միակ միջոցը հոր ծերունական թոշակն է։ Առաջին ամուսնությունից հիասթափված Վաչագանը որոշում է հեռանալ իր կնոջից ու սկսել նոր կյանք, բայց արդեն Ուկրաինայում։ Այնտեղ նա ամուսնանում է երկրորդ անգամ, բայց այսօր նա կրկին հեռու է իր ընտանիքից։ Նրա պնդմամբ իր հայրենի գյուղ վերադառնալու պատճառը փաստաթղթային խնդիրներն են եղել, իսկ առաջին և երկրորդ ամուսնություններից ծնված երեխաներից հեռու ապրելու պատճառը ֆինանսական միջոցների բացակայությունն է։
