52-ամյա Արամայիսը 52 տարիներից 22-ը անցկացրեց կալանավայրում և հենց այդ տարիների ընթացքում էլ կորցրեց առաջին կնոջը, իսկ նրանց համատեղ երեխան մնաց տատիկի հոգածության տակ: Կալանավայրից դուրս գալուց հետո Արամայիսը վերադարձավ հայրենի գյուղ՝ Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Փամբակ գյուղ, որտեղ և հանդիպեց իրենից 17 տարի փոքր Կարինեին ու ամուսնացավ:
