Լիդա Նիկողոսյանն Ուկրանիայի հանրապետությունում վաճառեց իր ունեցվածքը, թողեց տղայի գերեզմանը և հույսը սրտում, որ կփրկի աղջկա կյանքը վերդարձավ Հայաստան։ Դստեր կյանքը փրկելու համար  տիկին Լիդան վաճառեց նաև Նոյակերտում գնած իր տունը, սակայն աղջկան փրկել չհաջողվեց։ Միակ հարազատին կորցնելուց հետո, Լիդան դարձավ 12-ամյա թոռնիկի՝ Արթուրի խնամակալը, ում հետ տատիկը մեծ հույսեր է կապում, սակայն թոռանը մեծացնելու դժվարություններն օր օրի ավելանում են։
