Տարիներ շարունակ Արցախի հանրապետությունում ապրելուց հետո Գարիկ Մելոյանն ու Քրիստինե Ճաղարյանը իրենց երեք երեխաների հետ այսօր ապրում են Գեղարքունիկի մարզում: Տեղից տեղ տեղափոխվելով նրանց ուղեկցում են սոցիալական խնդիրները։ Արդեն 3 երեխանների և առողջական խնդիրներ ունեցող մոր հետ ամուսինները ժամանակավոր կացարանեն են գտել Գավառ քաղաքում ։ Դրսում հայտնվելու վախը Քրիստինեին ստիպում է, որ մոր մահից հետո ետ վերադարձնի,  իր խոսքերով իրեն հասանելիք մայրական տունը։
