2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 13-ին՝ Արցախում, Ադրբեջանի կողմից գերևարված Շիրակի մարզի 62 բնակիչներից մեկը Մարիամի ամուսինն էր: Մարիամը ցավը սրտում ամուսնուն 2020թ ճանապարհեց մարտի դաշտ, որտեղից ապահով վերադարձավ, սակայն 2020թ դեկտեմբերի 23-ին կարդաց ամուսնու գերի լինելու լուրը, որից հետո ցավը սրտում խեղդելով սպասում էր Սեյրանի վերադարձին: Գերությունից վերադառցած Մարիամի ամուսնու առողջական վիճակն ավելի բարդացավ, սակայն 3 երեխաններին խնամելու համար նա մեկնեց արտագնա աշխատանքի: Գյումրիում Մարիամը վարձակալած տանը մեծացնում է իր 3 երեխաններին ու հույսով սպասում, որ մի օր կբացի սեփական տան դուռը:
