2003 թվականին Սուսաննա Սուքիասյանը ամուսնու` Լևոն Համբարյանի հետ վեճերից հոգնած վերցրեց 15- ամյա որդուն` Արտակին և նոր ծնված աղջկան` Մարիներին և հեռացավ Հայաստանից։ 30-ամյա Արտակը տարիների ընթացքում ստեղծեց ապրելու պայմաններ։ Արտակի քույրը, որը այսօր արդեն 16 տարեկան է, ապրելով մորաքրոջ տանը մայրենի լեզվին չի տիրապետում։ Նա նույնիսկ չունի անձը հաստատող փաստաթուղթ։ Այսօր Արտակը հարազատների հետ միասին փորձում է  ելք գտնելու քրոջ համար փաստաթղթեր ձեռք բերել, որպեսզի միասին օտար հողից վերադառնան ծննդավայր՝ Գյումրի։
