20-ամյա Վահագնը երկու ամսվա զինծառայող էր, երբ սկսվեց պատերազմը: Ընկերների հետ մարտական առաջադրանքներ կատարելիս, վերջինս ստիպված էր հաղթահարել վախն ու շարունակել պայքարը: Վահագն պատմում էր, որ երբ մահ էր տեսնում ապտակում էր ինքն իրեն, որ սթափվի ու կարողանա կռվել թշնամու հետ: Թալիշում հոկտեմբերի 3-ին, ընկերոջ կյանքը փրկելու ժամանակ, Վահագնը վիրավորում ստացավ:  Պատերազմից հետո Վահագնը արդեն հայրական տանը փորձում է մոռանալ տեսածն և ծնողների, երկու եղբայրների հետ  ամեն ինչ նոր էջից սկել։
