Սահակյանների ընտանիքում շրջադարձային դեպքերը երեքն էին, երեքն էլ ճակատագրական ու մեծ ցավ պատճառող։
Ամեն ինչ սկսվեց Չեռնոբիլի ատոմակայանի պայթյունից հետո։ Դրա հետևանքները վերացնելու ժամանակ Դավիթի մոտ առաջացավ լուրջ առողջական խնդիրներ, որոնք թողեցին իրենց հետևանքները ու հիմա բժիշկները անկարող են որևէ բան անել։ Վիրահատությունը Դավիթի համար վտանգավոր է ու կյանքին սպառնացող։
Հաջորդ ողբերգական դեպքը 2006թ․-ի ավիավթարն էր, որը խլեց ընտանիքի 6 ամյա անդամի կյանքը, որից տարիներ հետո չդիմանալով այդ կորստին մահացավ նաև Դավիթի կինը՝ Զինան։
Այսօր Դավիթի կողքին Կարինեն է, որը հոգ է տանում նրա մասին ու մենակ չի թողնում նրան կյանքի այս դժվար փուլում, բայց Դավիթի մտքում ամեն օր իր 6 ամյա թոռն ու կինն են։
